Fuselage is the body of the aircraft to which wings and tails are attached. The main compartment of the fuselage is cockpit, hold or bulk to accommodate baggage mail & cargo and cabin compartment. In large aircraft landing gear are attached to fuselage. Nose in front of fuselage contains weather radar, localizer for navigation and instrument of the landing system. |
