International Airline Passenger Association (IAPA): IAPA’s main goal is to represent the views of passengers in aviation issues, it also offers members discounts on hotels world – wide, savings on car rental, comprehensive travel insurance, discounted membership of the world’s largest independent airport VIP lounge access programme, a luggage retrieval service and other benefits. In addition to three membership offices in Dallas, London and Hong Kong, IAPA has a new on – line hotel booking service. It offers members up to US $2,000,000 travel accident protection insurance. Pursuant to its main objective – the attainment of a “zero” flight accident level – IAPA actively promotes the continued study and assessment of all factors that may affect accident rates, including: pilot training programmes and systems, aircraft engineering and configuration improvements, more efficient and practical cabin safety and evacuation concepts, effective air traffic control.
