  INCOME TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE (ITCC)
 
ITCC is a formality of the govt. Of India and falls under the ministry of finance that is the income tax department. Foreign passport holders who have continuously stayed in India for a period of 120 days. The ITCC is issued in two copies by the income tax department - one copy is given to the passenger and the other retained with the travel agent or airlines issuing the ticket. At the time of ticket issuance if the passenger requiring ITCC, does not have one, in that case in the endorsement restriction box of the ticket it is written ‘subject to ITCC’.
