CABIN BAGGAGE
 
 
     
1. Baggage, which are suitable to be carried in cabin such as night bags or bed roll, portable typewriter, laptop computers and brief case is called cabin baggage. 2. Passenger does not have to pay anything extra for the cabin baggage that he carries along with him self. 3. This kind of baggage is labeled ‘cabin’ and is allowed as per the following specification: - * the baggage should be one piece. * the weight of cabin baggage should not exceed 6 kgs. * the size of the baggage should be such that it easily fits in the overhead compartment or below the seat depending upon the interior arrangement of the aircraft.

CARRY ON BAG
 
 
     
An item, usually of large dimensions, which somehow managed to fit under the passenger's seat on the inbound flight. Regardless of what the passenger says the following are not acceptable as carry-on items: bicycles, steamer trunks, refrigerators, truck tires, or wide screen projection TVs.

The checked baggage is registered with the airline against a receipt the counter foil of which is attached to the passenger ticket. * this is carried to the cargo section of the aircraft. * checked baggage is the responsibility of the concerned airline. * checked baggage is also called free baggage allowance. Therefore nothing extra is charged for this transportation by the airlines * depending upon the area of travel. * the class of travel * the type of passenger * there are two systems under which the passenger’s checked baggage will be allowed, depending upon the area of the world, passenger is traveling: - * weight concept * piece concept. POOLING BAGGAGE
 
 
     
Two or more passenger traveling as one party to a common destination on a same flight is permitted a total free baggage allowance equal to the combination of the individual allowance.
Condition for pulling baggage: The whole party must travel on the same flight, two or more passenger must travel as one party to a common destination or the baggage must be presented at check in at the same time as the passengers.

For passenger :- * hand bag * purse * umbrella * walking stick * overcoat * small camera * binocular * reading material 2. For handicapped passenger :- * wheel chair * clutches * 3. For a blind person :- subject to the fact whether the airlines allow animal transportation or not. Blind person may get the allowance of a seeing dog under the condition that masks should be properly tied on his mouth. 4. For deaf passenger :- deaf passengers are allowed hearing dogs as carry on items.
