BLUE CHANNEL
 
 
     
It is applicable when passenger is travelling within Europe. Passengers may use the Blue Channel to enter certain countries in Europe. Among countries where the Blue Channel exists are the following: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain (except Canary Islands), Sweden, and United Kingdom (except Channel Islands).

A government agency that monitors the flow of goods, commodities, and substances into and from its territory and levies fees, fines, and other charges according to posted regulations.

GREEN CHANNEL
 
 
     
For passengers who bring personal effects and goods that are not intended for commercial purposes, and which do not exceed the duty-free allowance. Duty-free allowances, restrictions, and lists of prohibited articles can be found in the TIM—the Travel Information Manual.

RED CHANNEL
 
 
     
Goods to declare and paying voluntary duty for import goods. The passenger has to pass through red channel when goods exceeding the personal duty free allowance, goods for business reasons, goods requiring license, authorization or should be declared on arrival, carrying plants seeds or animals and carrying foreign currency.
If passenger has goods purchased in another country exceed the personal duty-free allowance or he has currency to declare, in that case he has to pass throught “Red Chanel”.
