Turbo propeller engine uses the gas turbine to turn the propeller, smoother power and more economical than piston engine. These engines are used in small narrow body aircrafts. Propeller aircrafts are used on short haul routes where less passenger capacity is needed or to operate in smaller airports. The passenger cabin of the propeller aircraft has more engine noise then the jet aircraft. |
