TOURIST CARD
 
 
     
Tourist cards are usually obtained from an authorised travel agent, tour operator or consulate. A fee may be charged. It entitles the holder to enter a country on a single trip for a specified period of time. Extensions are normally allowed.

TOURIST VISA
 
 
     
Tourist visas are issued to people who want to visit friends and go for sightseeing and it is valid for six months. Although tourist visas can be granted for more than six months, depending on the applicant's nationality.

TRANSIT VISA
 
 
     
Provides right of entry into another country purely for the purpose of making travel connections onward to a third country.

TRANSIT WITHOUT VISA (TWOV)
 
 
     
Allowing some nationality without a visa if they are stopping to change the flight and is not leaving the airport lounge.

TRAVEL VISA

VISITOR VISA
 
 
     
It provides right of entry to another country, subject to satisfying immigration authorities at the point of entry. Conditions for obtaining a visitor’s visa include:- Proof of holding sufficient funds for the length of stay and Onward tickets before issuing the visa.

X ENTRY VISA
 
 
     
An X visa used to be issued to people who didn't clearly fall into any of the other categories of visa applicants such as: A foreigner of Indian origin / Spouse and children of a foreigner of Indian origin or Indian citizen / Spouse and dependent children of a foreigner coming to India on any other long term visa, such as an Employment visa or Business visa / Unlike Tourist visas, X visas are not subject to the two month gap. Therefore, people of Indian origin should apply for one of these visas when visiting India. It's not possible to work in India on an X visa. However, X visas can be extended in India, and there's no need to leave every six months.

VISA WAIVER PROGRAM (VWP)
 
 
     
Citizens of participating countries meeting the Visa Waiver Program requirements to may be allowed to enter the country as visitors for pleasure or business without first getting a visa. Visitors can stay only 90 days and can not extend their stay.

What type of passport the client is travelling on:- Requirements may vary according to the type of passport (Example:- Normal Passport, Diplomat Passport and Official Passports)
Check transit and entry requirements to all countries visited or being transited.
Rules regarding “transit” often differ from those related to a “stopover”.
A “transit” can mean different things in different countries — check the time permitted for transit.
If the client’s transfer is longer than the transit time allowed, then a visitor visa must be applied for instead of a transit visa.
